Burst Into Books

Burst Into Books is a CPS Vendor and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Chicago, US. Established in 2018, their mission is to provide culturally relevant enrichment opportunities, engage and support the community through access to resources, and cultivate published authors, particularly from the Black community. They offer literacy resources and educational workshops for children aged 6 months to 18 years, promoting diversity in books, authors, and storytellers. Burst Into Books hosts literary festivals, family events, creative writing workshops, and online programs to engage young readers and families, fostering a love for reading and storytelling. Since 2018, they have impacted over 20,000 young readers and distributed over 25,000 books.
