Fundacja Świat Wrażliwy & Caffe Aktywni is a socially impactful initiative founded in 2012 to empower young individuals with intellectual disabilities and seniors. The foundation, established by a group of visionary individuals, created a space for social interactions, therapy, and vocational development. Notably, its unique aspect is the Caffe Aktywni, the sole cafe in the Siedlce district of Gdańsk, created as a result of winning the 'Innovations for the Human Scale' grant in 2018. Through innovative programs, the foundation has garnered recognition for its contribution to social entrepreneurship and inclusive practices. Today, the foundation supports individuals with moderate intellectual disabilities, promoting independence, communication skills, and culinary workshops, with the invaluable assistance of seniors who serve as mentors.
