Fourteen Locks Canal Centre is home to the most spectacular flight of canal locks in South Wales, a scheduled ancient monument in Newport. Nestled on the Crumlin Arm part of the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal, it offers scenic beauty and rich history. The restoration project, initiated in 2002, showcases the dedication to preserving this 200-year-old waterway. Managed by the Monmouthshire, Brecon and Abergavenny Canals Trust (MBACT), the centre welcomes visitors with engaging exhibitions, a charming gift shop featuring local artisans' creations, and a delightful Dadford Tea Room serving fresh, locally sourced delicacies.
