The light at the end of the Corona tunnel is shining brighter. Starting from September 1st, all restrictions in the hospitality industry will be lifted, except for wearing a mask. No more 1.5m distance, our bar is open again...

For us, this seems like the perfect moment to return to Het Brughuis as we knew it before the Corona crisis:

• Spaghetti remains the main attraction on our menu. We also offer a wide range of snacks, appetizers, and regularly changing specials.
• We truly enjoy the spontaneous café life. Reservations for dining are available again for groups of 8 or more. Reservations can still be made via SMS.
• No more available seats in the café or on our terrace? You can now enjoy your drink standing at our bar, stove, or 'private dike'. A great alternative in our opinion!

Finally, we want to thank everyone who supported us throughout this demanding Corona period by ordering takeout and braving the snow, rain, and ice when only our terrace was open. Above all, we are grateful for the space you gave us to be creative with all the ever-changing regulations.

About Het Brughuis

Located on the banks of the Dijle in Muizen, near the Mechels Broek nature reserve, Het Brughuis is a cozy brown café with a beautiful sun terrace. It serves as a meeting place for locals and visitors exploring the area. The café offers a diverse drink menu with a wide selection of specialty beers, including those brewed in the adjacent microbrewery. Guests can enjoy well-prepared snacks and dishes, including the renowned Brughuis spaghetti. Originally built as the residence for the bridge keeper, Het Brughuis has retained its cozy, authentic charm over the years, making it a welcoming spot for people of all ages and backgrounds.
