The Mountain The restaurant is a tribute to the mountain region, showcasing stories of forests, hardworking people, hand-cut stones, wild herbs, and untrodden paths. It celebrates the connection between the land and its caretakers, offering a glimpse into the rich history of the area.

Who We Are Pan di legno is run by a Salento native and a Valdarno resident with a shared love for Tuscany. Formerly a linguist and a maintenance worker, the owners found each other during a winter walk and embarked on a new journey that led to the creation of the restaurant.
