Philosophy
The Hofladen
The Speierling Hofladen originated from a family farm that has been passed down through generations. Initially located in Meckenheim, the farm moved to a new location between Meckenheim and Hassloch in 1993. The name 'Speierlinghof' was chosen due to the abundance of Speierling trees in the area, with a focus on growing chicory, tomatoes, potatoes, and later adding asparagus. The first Speierling Hofladen opened in Auestraße in October 2004, followed by another branch at Kornmarkt in 2009. Initially specializing in selling fruits and vegetables, both locations now offer a popular lunch spot serving daily rotating soups and dishes, complemented by salads, fruit yogurts, and fresh fruit juices.

Wofür wir stehen
Speierling Hofladen strives to source products locally or from their own farm as much as possible, supporting the region and minimizing transport distances. Even when certain fruits and vegetables are not in season locally, they make efforts to keep transport routes short to reduce environmental impact.
